5.3 Upgrades & Downgrades

8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our IP
The Service, including its design, features, code, algorithms, documentation, and brand elements, is owned by ArmoPot and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.
8.2 Threat Intelligence Data
Threat intelligence data delivered through the Service (IOCs, TTPs, reports) is licensed to you for your internal security operations under your subscription. You may:
- Use IOCs to configure your own security tools (firewalls, SIEMs, blocklists)
- Reference ArmoPot data in internal security reports
- Share specific IOCs with your incident response partners during active incidents
You may NOT redistribute bulk data, create derivative threat feeds, or resell ArmoPot intelligence without a separate written agreement.
8.3 Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (e.g., custom YARA rules, integration configurations). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use it solely for providing the Service.
9. Service Level & Availability
- Bronze & Silver: Best-effort availability. We target 99.5% uptime but do not provide a formal SLA.
- Gold: 99.9% uptime target with planned maintenance windows.
- Enterprise: Custom SLA with defined uptime guarantees, response times, and service credits.
Scheduled maintenance is performed during low-traffic windows with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (ISP outages, DDoS attacks on our infrastructure, force majeure).
10. Data Processing
Our data processing practices are described in our Privacy Policy. For Enterprise customers requiring a Data Processing Agreement (DPA), please contact sales@armologic.com.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
- Threat intelligence data will be 100% accurate or complete
- The Service will detect all threats or prevent all security incidents
- IOCs will not generate false positives in your environment
ArmoPot is a threat intelligence tool that supplements — but does not replace — your security team's expertise and judgment.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARMOPOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ArmoPot, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Actions taken based on threat intelligence data provided by the Service
14. Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Service dashboard or by contacting support.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
- Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Data export is available for 30 days after cancellation upon request.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (IP, liability, indemnification) remain in effect.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
